In Arizona’s current housing market, there are many reasons why people are
buying and building. Some of them include the low cost of the land, tax incentives, and the many local and national jobs available in Phoenix. The housing market for the metro area is a bit different than the rest of the country because of the large influx of immigrants over the last decade or so. In Arizona, it is estimated that there are more than one million immigrants coming to live in the state each year. Most of these immigrants come from Mexico and other Latin American countries, but others come from Canada and Europe. This influx has helped the economy in Arizona to become a high employment state.

When comparing jobs and population, Arizona’s employment rate and population are similar to the rest of the U.S., with an average annual salary of about $60K and a median household income of around $82K. In the past five years, there has been a lot of growth in Phoenix and surrounding communities because of the growth in jobs and population. The number of jobs in Phoenix and surrounding cities has increased by about twenty percent. This growth is reflected in the housing market as well. Since the influx of new residents, real estate prices have been able to increase because the demand for homes has increased. This growth in demand for housing can be attributed to an influx of people into the city.
The geographic location of the Arizona housing market allows it to attract residents who are looking for high quality jobs and a comfortable lifestyle. The proximity of the large metropolitan areas and the availability of jobs in Arizona is what draws these people to live in the area. The availability of local jobs in Arizona also attracts the retirees who are looking for easy access to the amenities of a good retirement community. Arizona is a good place to live for those looking to get ahead in their careers and take advantage of the opportunities that come along with having a stable job and a good retirement plan.
